Big Ups, Columbus

Creative Cities International released their 'Vitality Index,' which "is a cultural impact study that models the human experience of the city at its heart."

The Index ranked the top 35 cities in the US based on quantitative and qualitative factors. The complete report, which lists what these factors are, can be found here.

I've been fairly obsessed recently with the idea of opening a bookstore/community cultural mecca in the neighborhood where we're moving next month, so I was encouraged to find Columbus ranked #8 in Creative Cities' index.

Big ups, Columbus. Too bad there's no prize for finishing 8th.
